Here is a refreshing and tasty mocktail, the Mojito Mocktail with Blueberries. Many cocktails have their own non-alcoholic version, so here it is, but with an extra twist. To the basic recipe, I added fresh blueberries and freshly made blueberry jam. The result was a fragrant mocktail.
The Virgin Mojito
Non-alcoholic cocktails, in alcohol-free recipe versions, often take the name “Virgin” with the name of the drink that follows, such as the Virgin Piña Colada. That is why when we talk about the non-alcoholic Mojito and you hear the term “Virgin Mojito” you are talking about the same thing. Today, the term “light” or “zero” is often used to indicate the absence of alcohol in the drink.
Mojito Mocktail Recipe
To make a virgin mojito recipe put in a tumbler, the blueberry jam, along with mint, brown sugar, lime and fresh blueberries. Using the muddler, pound all ingredients well. Add crushed ice and top with tonic. In this case, I used a tonic flavored with thyme and lemon. Decorate with a mint stem and blueberries threaded through a toothpick.
