Today I propose you a particular and delicious infusion, the Apple and Cinnamon Tea. I found the recipe on the internet some time ago but I modified it a bit because the original was really overly sweet.
But what’s so special about this infusion? Well, apple juice is used instead of water. Apple juice will give the apple taste and a good cinnamon herbal tea will flavor it. The result is like drinking an apple pie! It’s good both hot and cold.
To prepare this cinnamon drink, you will need a good apple juice. Do you use a bio and filtered one, no added sugar, because heating it will increase its sweetness. As for the type of infusion, I preferred a cinnamon and cardamom herbal tea but you can choose your favorite cinnamon infusion. The last ingredient you need is honey, choose one such as acacia or a thousand flowers that have a more delicate flavor and don’t put too much, otherwise it will become very sweet.
Apple and Cinnamon Tea
- 900 ml Apple Juice
- 1 tsp Honey acacia
- 3 bags Cinnamon Tea
- Heat the apple juice in a saucepan.
- Once the boil is reached, turn off the heat, add the teaspoon of honey and the tea bags to the cinnamon. Leave to infuse for 5 minutes and then serve.
